LOKtouch Pro software is strictly controlled by individual user login’s and passwords to ensure the highest level of security. Each individual user can be restricted by location access in the software database by the administrator to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive information.
The first step in setting up your access control system in the LOktouch software is to create your key holder users. Simply add the persons details, specify an activation and expiry period and then create the key.
The LOktouch E-Cylinder systems uses electronic cylinders inserted into standard mechanical locksets. To add these to your software simply click add and insert your lock location details in the text box and select from the dropdown box the cylinder type. Once this is completed then create the lock and program the cylinder by inserting the cylinder setting key.
The E-Cylinder system uses Time zones to control access by key users to the locks. The system is setup with a default 24/7 access time zone and has the facility for the software users to create their own individual access periods. Simply create a new time zone by adding the name of the new time zone and selecting the days and hours a key can open a lock.
Assign Time Zones to User Keys and Locks
The final step in getting your LOktouch E-Cylinder Access Control system up and running is to assign time zones to users. In the setting page, you need to edit the access matrix and add a time zone to the box that intersects a user key and a lock. Once you apply the time zone and save the change your access control system is ready to work.
View Audit Reports
The LOktouch software contains a series of detailed audit reports which allow you to review your system. The data for the reports page is automatically inserted when a user key is updated on the USB table encoder or when the key is presented to the online door manager unit. The reports have many search options to narrow down your review process and can be exported in an excel format for further pair review by managers.
